Friendly Tools’ founder, Nathaniel Langston, is a machinist and Photographer based in Pocahontas County, West Virginia.

Nathaniel is a man uniquely passionate about his many interests, whose genuine excitement in his work is evident through the quality of his products. He has worked professionally as a CNC operator and programmer, a 3D printer assembler, a high altitude structural painter, and a photographer/safety worker on a heavy equipment job site, among other positions. Throughout his career, he has followed his passions for photography, manufacturing, and novelty to wherever they have lead next.

Alongside his professional career, Nathaniel has pursued many other disciplines in the form of personal projects. He has designed and built his own CNC milling machines from scratch, 3D printed RC airplanes, and rebuilt engines, gaining extensive knowledge in both mechanical and electrical systems along the way. His skill in photography has evolved continuously, since his love of capable machines is also extended to cameras and their ability to immortalize all the most special moments of life.

Through Friendly Tools, Nathaniel leverages his knowledge and equipment to help people bring their ideas to life, whether they imagine a vibrant family portrait or a niche new product .
